UARent – Rent Apartments in Kiev, Ukraine

Wolfgang, Germany I stayed at Vladimirska serviced apartment recently with friends of mine. The apartment was an excellent base for our week long business trip. This Kiev apartment is stylish, modern and fully kicked out. It was feeling just like home. Close to Golden Gate, Opera, metro station and several western style cozy restaurants with excellent food, so we enjoyed some great evening outs and could just walk home. Kreschatik, the main Kiev Street, is just 5 minutes walk down the hill, Arena night club is 10 minutes walk. But I do prefer the area we stayed up on the hill – less tourists, beautiful and intimate.

Luigi, Italy I stayed here (Sofievska Apartment - UArent) for several nights with my Ukrainian girlfriend and was more than impressed!! We wanted something different than a usual hotel and this was definitely the place we've been looking for. The apartment has everything we could need. The decor was modern; rooms are of good size and clean. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The surrounding area is wonderfully quiet and only a short walk from Independence square. Several steps from the apartment is beautiful St Sophia cathedral and newly built Hyatt 5 star hotel. The disadvantage is lack of WiFi, though it has cable Internet connection with pretty good signal. I have already recommended this to my friends and will definitely stay there again!

Sarah, USA We lived in UARent’s short term Kiev apartment on Podol area for almost two months while adopting our Ukrainian child. We’ve been travelling a lot throughout Ukraine, so I was really pleased with our Kiev apartment compared to accommodations we rented out in other regions of Ukraine. The Kiev apartment is located in a nice antique building, thought is a bit far away from the tube but close enough to lots of great places to eat and shop. The river nearby is an additional advantage that was just beautiful. I lived in a studio flat with my husband - it was large enough for both of us and comfortable. The furniture was up to date and clean and I really liked the bijou bathroom. The main drawback was that the kitchen area was too small. There is almost no room to prepare food in one of the studio flats - if I could go back in time I would've rented one of the larger UARent’s units to have a better kitchen. The apartment has its own laundry machine which was very handy as we travelled back and forth. For the entire 2 months stay I was really impressed with our friendly staff, which looked after us well and were very accommodating.

Lars, Sweden We were visiting friends working in Kiev for several year and they recommended us UARent as a reliable agent who often accommodates their firm’s guest from abroad. The proposed apartment (Institutska – UARent) was in a great location nearby of National bank of Ukraine and President residence, close to shops and restaurants and only a short 3 minutes walk from the very downtown and main sightseeing attractions. The apartment was spacious, well furnished and had excellent entertainment facilities (plasma TV, cable, WIFI, desktop PC). It was great staying in a place having kitchen facilities rather than having to rely on a minibar, room service and expensive bars/restaurants. The bathroom was of good size with jakuzzi, the towels clean and dry. The only disturbing moment was a demonstration of some political party one day loudly screaming their demands right under our windows, but we’ve found that entertaining in the end taken lots of pictures. All in all a great experience.

Ana-Maria, Spain My family stayed in Prorizna apartment while spending a couple of days touring Kiev in 2008. It was a very economical choice compared to expensive Kiev hotels. Moreover they provided free parking right next to the building so I had no issues to park my minivan. The apartment was immaculate, comfortable, a short walk to great restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to Maidan - central square of Kiev. The metro is close, but we opted for cabs which are about $5 to $10 to any tourist place including museums and shopping malls. There is a little street noise early in the morning, but you kind of expect that being in the center of a big city. Otherwise, we would surely stay here again.

George, USA I was pleasantly surprised by our clean and nice room. We spent five nights and had a comfy bed, a large bathroom, plenty of space for our bags, soft towels, and very clean too! The location couldn't be better - literally a less than 2 minute walk to Globus shopping mall and a less than 15 minute walk to mandarin Plaza and Arena Club. The driver picked us up at the airport very quickly, and the staff was friendly and helpful. At such a reasonable price for Kiev, we thought for sure something would be sub-par, but really, this was a nice place. Not a fancy hotel, but it you are looking for a great deal in a great location in Kiev, this is definitely the place.

Youssef, OAE We stayed at Mikhaylovski Lane apartment for a week in September 2010. KBP international airport is about 40 miles from downtown so we ordered airport pickup and it was all in time. They delivered us directly to the apartment which took about 1 hour drive from the airport. All of the staff were professional and helpful, but the front desk staff was outstanding. Zoya was especially helpful, definitely a standout employee. The apartment is modern decorated, clean and comfortable. We were pleased with our stay.

Paul, Switzerland I was asked to write a short review by Alex and I’m pleased to share my experience with UARent. Have stayed at their locations several times over three past years, both on solo business travel and with family for leisure. All booked apartments served both purposes well. It is much like a "standard very good hotel", but the location (quiet downtown, historical places, near Metro stations, short ride by car to any places of interest, stores and restaurants around) and seemingly safe neighborhood, make me want to rate it "excellent". I do think the staff members were "excellent" on every occasion as well. When I needed something extra, the manager was right there assisting with my needs either by phone or sending someone from the staff my way. The apartment rooms were clean and the fully furnished kitchen/dining area with microwave/fridge are very helpful. Bathrooms are of good size, very clean. One of the apartments had Jacuzzi and adjustable light system – something you won’t expect in average level accommodation. Towels and all linens were always perfect. I definitely will stay again when in the town. Also I do recommend using UARent for your stay in Kiev.

Sergey, Russia I wanted a nice hotel in Kiev that was close to St Michael cathedral (and my company office), but without the high prices, and that was close to the metro. After searching on internet and reading numerous reviews, I decided to go with the UA Rent. I was not disappointed! The apartment on Reitorska is a perfect combination of central location and convenience. It seems to cater to business people more, but also would perfectly suit for a romantic weekend etc. Parking is next to apartment, secured. Honestly you don’t wanna use a car during a business day in Kiev downtown, so having free parking was handy. The room was good sized, as was the bathroom. Bathroom had Bath and Body Works amenities. Broadband Internet available for free. The kitchen area didn’t have a microwave, so I requested one and it was delivered the next day for no additional fee. Bedroom has soft comfortable bed and additional folding sofa. Several blocks from the apartment is Independence Square and Khreshatik, also St Andrew church with picturesque places to walk. Definitely would stay there again on my next trip to Kiev.
