The new exhibition of scandalous Belgian artist Jan Fabre will be opened in Kiev
The exhibition consists of two parts:Tribute to Hiëronymus Bosch in Congo (2011-2013) and Tribute to Belgian Congo (2010-2013) and shows us the full story of the colonial past of Belgium.
This story appeared in the works of Fabre in 2002, when he created a monumental work "Heaven of Delight", covering the ceiling of one of the halls of the RoyalPalace in Brussels with million wings of beetles.
The exhibition includes 36 spectacular mosaics, 23 sculptures and 2 large-scale triptyches, 28 new works.
You can see these works on the 4th floor of the Pinchuk Art Centre. The exhibition will be run from February 7 to April 27, 2014. Opening hours: Tuesday - Sunday from 12:00 to 21:00. Entrance is free.
